Developed by Jack Heuer in the early 1960s and named after the car race of the same name, the Carrera is specially tailored to the needs of professional racing drivers. A specially developed, proprietary Heuer 02 manufacture caliber ticks within the athletic Carrera Chronograph. It is protected by a 42-millimeter case made of polished, finely brushed stainless steel and a screwed-down case back of sapphire crystal and stainless steel. The silver-colored dial and a brown alligator-skin strap round off the athletic and yet elegant look.
